About the role
 

Reporting to our Vice President of Client Experience, you’ll have the opportunity to develop a department of revenue-generating relationships and facilitate exceptional experiences for our world-class partners ensuring they are fulfilled in their collaboration with Nexii. We’ll lean on you to develop the Nexii community on the East Coast and beyond; developing Client Management system, managing incoming project opportunities, growing and maintaining client relationships, and secure projects, and build a team of high performers. Day to day, you’ll collaborate with Marketing, Licensing, Engineering, Architecture, Design, and Finance and Accounting. You’ll communicate Nexii’s message of sustainability and innovation with prospective and existing clients, organizing and hosting community events, creating project proposals, and reporting on department performance in order to develop a positive reputation for Nexii in the Construction Technology space, and close revenue-producing projects.
 
What you’ll need:
 
·       A thorough understanding of, and ability to communicate, the necessity for sustainable building
·       Commercial real estate, construction, planning, development experience, general industry knowledge
·       A demonstrated ability to create client relationships and close sales
·       A proven track record in organizing successful events
·       Excellent vendor/client management skills
·       Knowledge of basic recruitment and business development practices
·       Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
·       Strong ability to stay well-organized and on top of a heavy workload
·       An ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm
·       Strong problem-solving ability and adaptability
·       A highly trustworthy demeanor
·       Adaptability to constantly changing work environment
·       Experience with customer resource management systems
·       A proven track record in developing teams
 
Bonus points for:

·       Commercial real estate, construction, planning, development experience, general industry knowledge
·       Experience creating an entirely new pipeline of business from scratch
