Reporting to our Sr. Talent Acquisition and People Specialist, you’ll have the opportunity to dive into the sourcing, recruitment, and selection process of their new team members. We’ll lean on you to refine Nexii’s recruitment process and identify opportunities to create efficiencies and improvements that meet Nexii’s needs. Day to day, you’ll collaborate with the People, Culture and Community team, and various other departments to support their hiring needs. You’ll manage and report on the full cycle recruitment process in order to ensure that Nexii’s recruitment and employee growth targets are achieved in alignment with our values, culture and mission. 
What you’ll need: 
  • Experience recruiting different levels of talent. 
  • Proven track record of success with a variety of recruiting methods including direct sourcing, e-recruiting and traditional methods 
  • An ability to maintain composure in demanding situations 
  • ​Assisting the Hiring Manager or Executive Recruiter with recruitment duties. 
  • Reviewing available positions and candidate requirements. 
  • Communicating with the HR team. 
  • Posting job applications on social media and job sites. 
  • Tracking open positions using recruiting software. 
  • Assisting the hiring team in screening candidate résumés. 
  • Contacting candidate references and verifying education requirements. 
  • Conducting initial phone screenings. 
  • Communicating with candidates and setting up interviews. 
  • Managing the résumé database 
Bonus points for: 
  • Experience with both 3rd party (agency) and internal recruiting at the corporate level 
  • Experience recruiting in the Construction industry 
  • Being active in your community 
  • ​Proven track record of success with a variety of recruiting methods including direct sourcing, e-recruiting and traditional methods 
  • Experience with Applicant Tracing Systems 
  • ​Negotiation and influencing skills 
  • A highly ethical demeanour and an ability to deal with confidential issues with tact & discretion
